The Cheshire Commonwealth Association (CCA) has been established under the guidance of the Lord Lieutenant of Cheshire, David Briggs to encourage awareness of the Commonwealth throughout Cheshire.
The Commonwealth is a voluntary association of 53 independent and equal sovereign states and it has just celebrated its 70th anniversary. It is home to 2.4 billion citizens and over 60% of these are under the age of 30. The Cheshire Commonwealth Association aims to ensure that the many benefits of educational and business collaborations with the Commonwealth are both understood and maximised across Cheshire.
That Cheshire is engaged with the Commonwealth through maximising business and educational opportunities.
