Thanks for the invite to the Cheshire Commonwealth Association event. It has definitely provided some food for thought. Some inspiring local success stories around exporting and the opportunity to make some relevant contacts that will assist with investigating exporting as a growth strategy for CE Back Office has been invaluable. I have also been signposted to some future training events that will assist with our exporting journey. Thanks again for the invite – I look forward to future events.
I was delighted to attend the Cheshire Commonwealth Association (CCA) launch event on 19th June, sharing our Commonwealth exporting journey and insights as a DIT Northern Powerhouse ‘Export Champion’.
It’s tough and lonely running a business at times and I firmly believe that encouraging and enabling businesses to work together more effectively (regardless of age, size and sector) is hugely important. The CCA provides the perfect platform to do just that: allowing lessons learned and best practices to be shared informally, helping others to build their support network and connections alongside more formal knowledge and awareness sessions.
Even as a recognised ‘champion’ I found yesterday highly informative and thought-provoking and as well as catching up with familiar faces I made some great new connections – new connections who have already offered to support me on the next stage of Hydraulics Online’s exporting journey. Really looking forward to the next meeting in September.
